Ringroad Day School
Ringroad Orphans Day School Is the fastest growing orphans Day school in the Country Of Kenya, ranked last year as the best managed institution in the district. We have just under 400 boys and girls in attendance at our school each day. Students begin the day with porridge for breakfast and then start classes promptly at 7:30am. The school has classes for grades 1 through grade 8. Some classes are as large as 40-50 students, but they are always eager to learn. Our students excel in English, Swahili, Bible, Math, Social Studies and participate in many outdoor activities through the year. Lunch and an evening meal are served during the school day before school is dismissed, usually between 5:00 and 6:00pm.
The Ringroad School is located in an extremely poor and rural area of Kenya. The school serves as a bright light in the community for Jesus Christ. Our students know that being at school means they will be fed, nurtured and cared for. Our teachers serve as positive role models for children who may not have a loving adult in their lives or who need continuous encouragement to find a new future through education and healthy living. Our school administrators love Jesus, love our students and love our neighbors.
